Welcome to Our Church
Loving God & Loving Others
History
Discover who God is and your purpose in His story!
Dundalk Church of the Nazarene is a place where all are invited in to discover who God is and the purpose God has for all of us in God’s story. We think church should be a place where people of any and all backgrounds can experience a God who is real and relevant in their lives today. And that’s exactly what we want to help you do! Our church has been serving in Dundalk since 1959. We gather weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM. We have a blended type of service using both contemporary/ modern worship songs and hymns. A typical service includes a Call to Worship, 4-6 songs, scripture readings, various prayers, a sermon, a time for giving tithes and offerings, and communion. We celebrate communion at the conclusion of each Sunday service.
If you’ve been following God your entire life, you’re welcome here. If you’re new to faith, you’re welcome here. If you’re not really sure you believe in God at all, you’re welcome here. No matter where you are on the road to faith, we want to walk alongside you as you go. Our hope is that as you join us on the journey, you’ll discover a God who is active, alive, and at work in your life. Our Beliefs
Molding believers, influencing the world
The Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the classical Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. We believe that God calls Christians to a life of loving God and loving others. The doctrine that distinguishes the Church of the Nazarene and other Wesleyan denominations from most other Christian denominations is that of entire sanctification, holy living that is marked by an act of God, cleansing the heart from original sin and filling the individual with love for God and humankind. This experience is marked by entire consecration of the believer to do God’s will and is followed by a life of seeking to serve God through service to others. Like salvation, entire sanctification is an act of God’s grace, not of works. Our pursuant service to God is an act of love whereby we show our appreciation for the grace that has been extended to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
